My pharmacy is located in Pearse Street. I always support my neighbours, and shop local. There is an excellent butcher beside us who we always buy from. When my car needs a service, I always use the same local mechanic and my website designers are just down the road. There is a real sense of community and mutual support.
I have a soft spot for young Irish Business, particularly those who sell products aligned with my way of thinking. A great example of this is Galway Natural Health. About a year ago, they made contact with me via Twitter in relation to their product ‘Revive Active’. Around the same time I saw an article about the company in the Sunday Times. Galway Natural Health is a young, vibrant, proactive company with four products currently on the market.
After researching the Company, and trying out the products, I was very impressed with the product. The first product is called ‘Revive Active’. It is a health food supplement, and comes in a sachet. It is a blend of 26 natural ingredients that you take in a glass of water once a day. It is best taken first thing, on an empty stomach. It has a really pleasant mango flavour, and is no different to drinking a glass of fruit juice. The ingredients help with boosting energy levels, support your heart and brain function, reinforces your immune system and nourishes skin, hair and nails. We are all busy, and although health food supplements are never a substitute for a balanced diet, they certainly help your body stay healthy. I can’t recommend this product highly enough.
The second product is Revive Active Krill Oil. This is a great source of Omega-3. Omega-3 is essential for healthy heart, brain and joint function. I love how easy it is to take .The size of the capsule is much smaller than more traditional capsules I was used to in the past. We can all do with more of it. Omega-3 is also a powerful antioxidant.
The third product is Revive Joint Complex. It is a wonderful source of natural nutrients and ingredients specifically designed to support cartilage, bone, connective tissue and skin. The product is new to the market and has just arrived with us. A number of people have left excellent reviews online, in regards to this product reducing pain and increasing mobility in people with conditions such as osteoarthritis. It is, in my opinion, an excellent addition to the range.
The fourth product is a Revive Active brand of Co-enzyme Q10. This enzyme is crucial to energy production in the body, but as we get older the levels in our bodies decline. Certain medications can also affect the production of CoQ10, for example, people who take cholesterol-lowering statins. The statins block the production of the enzyme. I have taken Co-enzyme Q10 for the last 17 years. If I was exiled to a desert island and was only allowed to take one medicine/supplement with me it would be Co-enzyme Q10.
