Autism Ireland Presents Blue Nose Week 2018

Autism Ireland have launched for the first time, Blue Nose Week following the previous four years success of Blue Nose Day. The campaign which will run from the week of 23rd to 29th April aims to help raise awareness and understanding of autism, while also raising funds for the charity. As the charity doesn’t receive government funding, they are very dependent on the generosity of the general public, in order to fund the vital support and services they provide to families throughout Ireland.

They are encouraging schools, business’ and communities to have a “blue day” by wearing blue, walking a mile for autism or having a blueberry muffin morning! They are also broadcasting “Autism Radio” on Heartbeat FM ( 88.1FM) throughout the week so make sure to listen in. For more information visit their site here.  And remember to get out there and support the great cause in whatever way you can!
